There would not be letters b, d, f, g, j, l, r, v, z, which would be replaced by
p, t, p, k, y, t, w, s,
respectively. As in official orthography, long vowels are indicated by doubling the vowel: aa, ee, ii, oo, uu, ïï. Also, when the stress does not fall on the first syllable of the word, it is marked with an acute accent (´): kïcéena 'coyote'. But unlike the official one, voiceless vowels are indicated by a dot below, not by an underline: Ạ ạ Ẹ ẹ Ị ị Ọ ọ Ụ ụ Ï. ï. |
