There would not be letters b, d, f, g, i, j, l, q, r, u, z, which would be only used
in loanwords or replaced by
p, t, p, k, c, l, p, ks, s,
respectively. Like the current orthography, high tones are marked with an accute accent (ˊ), low tones are unmarked, mid tones with a marcon (ˉ), raised high tones with a circumflex (ˆ), voiceless vowels with a dot above (˙). |
