• The earliest HUMBERSTONE is Thomas who got married in 1547
• On 8 July 1850, James Thomas HUMBERSTONE was born in Dover, Kent, and died on 22 June 1939 in Chile.
• He went to Chile 1875, and was known there as Santiago HUMBERSTONE, OBE.. See photo above with his wife.
• He worked in the nitrate industry and became quite famous there.
