Billie Hall Mincy - A Most Devoted Wife and Our Most Loving Mother
Billie Hall Mincy was born in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, on 1 November 1929.
Billie was the fifth child and last of four daughters of Woodie Angeline
Lee Hall of Barbourville, Bell County, Kentucky. and of William Tompie Hall, of Whitesburg, Letcher County,
Kentucky. Woodie Lee Hall died on 28 July 1978 in Fort Worth, Texas, Tarrant County, Texas. William Tompie
Hall died on July 9, 1966.
Billie Hall Mincy attended elementary school at J. P. Elder Elementary School in Northside Fort Worth, Texas, from 1936 to 1942.
From 1942 to 1945 she attended W. J. Turner Junior High School also in Northside Fort Worth. From 1945 to 1947, Billie attended , first, Northside High School, then Billie transfered to Technical High School of Fort Worth to major in Business studies, where she graduated in 1948. She then
attended the Brantly-Draughn School of Business in Fort Worth.
Billie worked in various positions, her last jobs were as the head bookkeeper for Greens' Furs in Fort Worth, then as the bookkeeper for Mincy Electric Company from 1955 to 1956. She was a homemaker from 1955 to her death in 2005.
Billie Hall Mincy first married Alfred Golini in 1949. They lived in Austin, Texas, then in Fort Worth. They divorced in September 1950. Billie married Jack Mincy in Fort Worth on 18 August 1951. Billie Hall Mincy died at home with her son Michael at her side in the late morning hours of Sunday, February 20, 2005, after a 15 week long illness.
Billie made friends easily, and left many loving relatives, friends,
her dear loving Husband, Jack, and her three Devoted remaining Sons, Randal, Michael, and Timothy. She is and always will be greatly missed by us all.
Billie Hall Mincy will be buried on Friday, February 25, 2005, and Visitors for viewing of her will be tonight, Thursday, February 24, 2005, from 6pm to 8pm at the Mount Olivet Cemetary, on Sylvania Avenue in Fort Worth.
