| I draw out a small rough of the idea, then with watercolor , gouche and acrylic, paint up a rough coloring of the picture, scan it, then use photoshop to do the finishing on it. I prefer painting and working digitally on my illustrations. Having a graphic design background it merges my love of the computer with my love of illustrating, hence my process in the method my artwork. My goal in all of my color work is to capture a moment in the story of the piece, to convey a certain aspect of the pause in time. I hope you enjoy it and find it inspiring in some way to you. |
