me...
My name is Mike Byrne, and I live In Ebbw Vale, in South Wales. I was born in
Dublin, Ireland, and lived for twenty years in the west of Ireland, at the edge
of the Burren, in county Clare.
I have been writing peotry and short stories for longer than I can remember,
and last year published my first volume of poems,
Storm of Words.
I am a member of a group of performing poets and musicians based in Wales,
and known as
Salem. I have read - performed - my poetry in many places,
including England, Wales, Ireland, and the United States.
During daylight hours I work as a publisher of poetry and short fiction. Apart
from the pictures of me taken by Anni, all the pictures on the site are my own,
-so don't be too critical!
