As a work of art for the "everyman" Imagine is without a doubt a classic. It is very "of this world" idealistic and I must say that the music that goes to the lyrics are just wonderful.

I just want to say that I grew up on the Beatles and the Stones and always thought that the really perfect band would be somewhere in the middle ...the stones attitude and the beatles song writing ablities ...

Imagine was one of my favorite songs for YEARS ...

Then one day , after hearing some comments about the lyrics I actually took the time to really listen and think about the lyrics to this song .

I think that as a work of art about how people should treat eachother it is a pleasant listen .

As a christian, however , I am concerned that it borders on dangerous.

Before I come across to some as a "Crazy Right wing nut " or a Far our Christian ...let me remind you that the first words to the song are

Imagine there's no Heaven ....

Well without a Heaven it is hard to Imagine anything else.
