The story about the Mercenary Rock band manager

This sh** is so crazy..I can't even believe I am going to tell it .

The Band that I was in at the time was called "White Kid Leather"

To cut to the chase David Wade And I were out Looking for gigs and we ened up at a club in down town Memphis Called "Televison"

We laid out our promotion package or what we had of one .and the next thing we knew ...we were talking to a gentleman that was the manager ofthe clu that we were hoping to be booked in .

I can not tell you how this gentleman came to be the manger of the club ,I can tell you that he had a Clear Scottish accent ..

Anyway ..

During conversation about what the band had t offer and what the club could do for us "Mark" begin telling us his background .

Well it turns out that "Mark" Had gotten his start in the Rock field as a body Gaurd for Led Zepplin ..I guess because Rock and Rollers Love over kill.

I really didnt think much of the story ..I thought it was all BS..

I couldnt even think of the reason thathe would be wating his time BS ing us ..untill I realized that he was interested in one of our band members ..Heather

Here is what I can tell you .

Extreamly right after "mark " got invovled ..We had a line into Epic Records a new promo pack ...and phones started ringing ..

Of course none of this proves that Mark is a Mercenary..but what I can tell you this

,That little stunt about the shotgun and blowing th e hole through our practice place ..I saw it first hand ..I know where the shot gun came from ..I know about how long it took him to pull it off and the truth of the matter is that I never asked one more question about it

Tell you what ..there is a group of images at the White KidLeather site and in some of them I have a mustach..and then he told me that ..that wasn;t a good luck ...It disappeared REAL fast...

A number of other things aong this same time frame ..I dont even know thatI feel exactly free to share them quite yet ...but chances are I will edit this a little later ...
