according to the info posted on the todosobrefilm group in MySpace( http://groups.myspace.com/todosobrefilm  ), Volver is on general release in the US from tomorrow, Nov. 3.  I've seen it back in August and I can only say go and watch it, it's one of the best ever.

I have no idea how he does it, but somehow Almodovar keeps getting better, while keeping up a frantic productivity (I think he  has directed close to 30 movies in the last 30 years and written most of them, too ?). 

The other big question is, however, why does it take a gay man to make a great movie about women ????  Any clues ?

In any case. It's freaking brilliant.  Don't miss it.
