This is a bit less than a biography, more a collection of trivia about Shakira, ordered by topics (lovers, religion, money, parents ...) rather than chronologically. The authors are Shakira's first ever PR assistant (Sanchez) and a showbiz journalist.

Also, it appears to have been published in a shorter version in 2001 (just prior to Laundry Service), and then they stuck two short chapters about LS and the Hips Don't Lie phenomenon to the end for this paperback edition, published Feb. this year.

Considering all this, it's kind of ok, there is some interesting info that I wasn't aware of. But not much about her music, or how her life inspired her work. Not a word about the concert experience ;) Love the cover design, though.

Well I guess we'll have to wait a bit longer for a proper biography. And no, I'm not applying for the job ...
