MySpace -- my top friends

I've made a little analysis of who's on my front page in my space. I'll write the results down now, so I can go and change everything by moving friends around.

As of May 31st, 2007, I have met none of my Top 24 face to face in RL, although I have seen Shakira and Kelis in concert, of course.

The top 24 are residents of 12 different countries (I'm aiming to increase that number!), namely:

UK 6, US 5, Colombia 3, Germany 2, plus 8 other countries with one person.

Looking at continents, there are 12 from Europe, 6 from North America, 5 from middle and south america, 1 from Oceania.

There are 4 professional musicians, 7 music fans (i.e. Shakira fans), 7 people with whom I share scientific interests, and 6 people with whom I share some other interest :)

Most are in the 18-25 age range, but that probably reflects the overall population of MySpace quite closely. Well, ok, it also reflects my preference for people who are still alive in the sense that they are able and willing to learn new things, which is a quality that becomes rarer in the higher tiers of the age distribution.
