Francois Xavier Freyder, 1st cousin to my Great-grandfather Francois Ignace Freyder. FX came to the US from France in 1851. Picture on the right is his three sons; (L-R) George Leonard, Frank Xavier, and John W. Freyder.

The Freyder Reibel home in Huttenheim. It is believed that this was the home of Francois Xavier Freyder and Sophie Hurstel. Xavier gave the home to Marie Madelaine his daughter when married, or on his death. Marie married a Laurent Reibel and it stayed in the Reibel family until sometime recently.
