Jerry spoke to an authority on street car history, she said his badge number would indicate he worked the Canal St. line. (R) Albert E. FX came to the US from France in 1851. Picture on the right is his three sons; (L-R) George Leonard, Frank Xavier, and John W. Freyder.   Louis Antoine Freyder. Member of New Orleans' first police force. Circa 1905   Eythel Freyder, Bill huhner, and the two ladys are cousins. I believe one of their names is Evelyn Lotz. The other man is unknown.   John W. Freyder 1890 Picture contributed by: Robin Armstrong   The Freyder Reibel home in Huttenheim. It is believed that this was the home of Francois Xavier Freyder and Sophie Hurstel. Xavier gave the home to Marie Madelaine his daughter when married, or on his death. Marie married a Laurent Reibel and it stayed in the Reibel family until sometime recently.
