AMH 2020 Study Guide

The final will consist of three essay questions.

You will need a big Blue Book (available at bookstore)

Essay #1- Industrialization
       ○ Connect to progressivism, communism, fascism, anarchism, imperialism
       ○ Political and social effects

Essay #2- World War II
       ○ Conditions that brought about WWII

(Great Depression, End of WWI, 14 points,Versailles treaty etc…)
       ○ Understand lead up to WWII, not thru it

- Vietnam
       ○ Tell story of war from 1945 to 1975 (you may include some of these and many others as you please, but you are not required to use these)

               § Geneva accords
               § Dien Bien Phu
               § Tet offensive
               § Rolling thunder
               § MacNamara and Johnson
               § Nixon's pull out
               § Victory with honor
               § Christmas bombing campaign
       ○ Understand progression of events
