| Crystal Cave is located in Springfield, MO. This is a very neat cave. The owner is about 84 years old and takes care of the cave with him and his family. He got the cave from his sister in law who got it from the original owners. They were three sisters and they know the Indians who lived in the cave. They say that an Osage Chief is burried there. He can show you were the Chief is and the markings they left. His sister in law got the cave from the sisters the original owners when they died. They left it to her in thier Will for taking care of them. Loyd the owner is very neat to listen to. He will tell you anything you want to know about the cave. He has opened new parts himself he had dug out. He is very amazing. I just wish I could be as active as he is! You have to see this cave. Click on the bat to see more. |
