I am looking to go on to work for mapping or GI company.
I have used total stations and differing GPS systems for map and DTM production.
During my degree I have used MapInfo, Vertical Mapper, ER Mapper and VirtuoZo for orthophoto map production, GIS construction, satellite imagery rectification, classification and digital image processing. i am able to create light logistics and mission plans for digital aerial surveys, and produce costs and delivery schedules.
I am very confident with computers, I have an A level in computing, and have knowlege of programming in Visual Basic, basic C++ and SQL.
My personal interests include music, I play the guitar and bass and enjoy seeing live acts. I also enjoy canoeing and was a memeber of Bideford canoe club before moving to university in Bath
I have been a member of the Scout association for 15 years, and I helped to set up and now run the Venture Scout section in Fremington. The Scout associtaion is where my interest in mapping first started.
