| Most people think of Mt Si as the typical training hike of choice for Seattle based hikers and climbers. However, because of the absolute beauty of the entire Monte Cristo area I have made Del Campo Peak my favorite training hike as I never tire of this area. On this specific weekend Kyle and decided it would be nice to get some work in which is just what we ended up doing. The best part was that because of 4 to 8 inches of wet snow we were able to make it all the way up in our running shoes (and cold and wet feet)!
