Since this is hard to read...here is
what it says:

Michael Ball left the Guildford School of
Acting in July 1984, having studied on
the Acting course and has packed a
great deal of experience in a very
short time. Immediately on leaving Drama
School, he was asked to play "Judas/John
the Baptist" in Godspell, at the Arts
Centre, Aberystwyth.

David Kelsey saw him in this production
and offered him 'Vittorio - The Film Star',
in Sweet Charity at the Haymarket
Theatre, Basingstoke.

Ian Mullins, the Artistic Director at
Basingstoke, immediately contracted him
to stay on, playing 'Derek Tuffrey' in
Lark Rise and 'Rat' in The Adventures
of Mr.Toad. This production
subsequently transferred to the Theatre
Royal,Wincester.

Michael has a love of singing which
comes from the strong Welsh side of his
family. His activities outside of
showbusiness include parachuting,
gliding, ice skating and he is a qualified
life saver.

'Frederic' in Pirates of Penzance is his
first major production.
