Something to think about:

What separates the Christian God from all others is his Mercy and Compassion. In every other religion it is up to man to make him self acceptable to God. For Christians God makes man acceptable by paying the penalty for our actions. Some religions ask man to better himself others say our actions are acceptable as we are. But in Christianity God keeps his high standards while giving man a way to reconcile with him. It is this that should fill us with love for our God. We are not forced to ignore the injustice rampant in the world and justify behaviors which are ultimately destructive to ourselves and others. Christians don't need a God who is either too callous to care or too limited to know what goes on here. Our God gives us mercy to come to him, but calls us to better behavior. He gives us our choice to exercise evil but provides a way to righteousness and gives us an example. Praise the Lord for his mercy. This is why Christians love to quote John 3:16 for it sums up but best our unique God.

God has blessed our family with an active role in the Raleigh North Adventist Church . We love the small church atmosphere and the evangelic focus. It is my privilege to serve God with such a committed and loving church family.
