God and I, in space alone
and nobody else in view.
Where are the people, oh, Lord,
I said, and the earth below,
and the sky o'er head,
and the dead, whom once I knew.

Those were dreams! The Great God said
Dreams, that seemed to be true.
There were no people, living or dead,
and no earth below, and no sky o'er head,
There's only Myself and you.

Then why do I feel no fear, I said,
Meeting You here, in this way?
For I have sinned, I know full well,
and there is Heaven, and there is hell.
Is this the Judgment Day?

Those were dreams! God smiled and said,
Dreams that have ceased to be!
There's no such thing as fear, OR sin!
There is no you! You have never been!
There's nothing at all, be Me!
