When I started my very brief personal home page in early 1997, I included a few music pages, including one headed "What's Playing Lately," which had short reviews of 8-10 CDs I actually was playing a lot.

Besides playing CDs at home, I listen to a lot of music, live, at stores' "listening stations," Amazon's sound clips, on the radio while driving, and the digital music channels on cable TV... so by the time I BUY a CD, it's invariably a keeper...
