Assumptions
For instance, as described in perception one,
scribble down last weeks winning lottery numbers, then time travel back 7 days, and place a bet on them turning up.
The result should be that you will win!
And according to perception two, you will win.
The original time line where you lost still exists.
However by altering past events, you have created a parallel outcome,
a new timeline now exists where you have won the lottery and now belong to.
Previously in perception one, this created a paradox,
but the paradox is eliminated by the timeline skewing off into 2 possible realities.
One where you lose , one where you win.

In this diagram, both horizontal lines are timelines.
You initially experience point A - lose lottery.
then you move along the path to point B - decide to travel back in time to the moment the lottery took place (point A).
With winning numbers in hand, you place a bet, and WIN.
The original timeline still exists for everyone else, and in your memory, however a new timeline has been created causing a skew into point C
You now live in the parallel time line where you recieve your winnings at point C and continue to live as a rich individual at point D.
From the moment the skew takes place, everybody except you are duplicated and one version of them now live in the new timeline, aswell as versions living in the old timeline, both versions totally unaware of each others existence. Only you, the traveller, have knowledge of both versions of events.
Despite the change in actions, both timelines somewhat still mirror one another, hence the term Parallel realities.
Incidentally, the colors used in the above diagram are as follows:
Since anyone left behind in a timeline, when you travel, are copied and co-exist in separate parallel realities, then you could not really go back in time in order to save a loved one from demise. If you did attempt to change a friends past and succeed, then a skew would occur and a duplicated friend would now exist in a happier state making you believe that you did good. But the suffering individual would still reside in the previous timeline, and in their eyes you would have offered to help out, but then just vanished and never be seen again. In effect, you would have given birth to a healthier lifestyle for your colleague, but since only you are aware of both realities, then only you can make the comparisson between good and bad outcome. So by travelling back in time and re-writing the past, you are only changing the perception of time for yourself. Time travel not so much gives opportunity to put things right, but moreso allows you to choose which reality you now live and experience.
This implies that all possible eventualities already exist in deeper dimensions, and that the only alteration or ammunition involved is your knowledge of previous time line events. Since after creating an alternate timeline, you are effectively stuck there, then you have only changed the worldline in which you now belong. Although both useful and effective, it is merely a selfish act on your own behalf. Even if you Time travel in order to save a loved one from disaster, then they still suffer in the initial timeline, whereas the successful timeline which you have created is only experienced by yourself, in terms of comparisson. I say ' in terms of comparisson ' because even if you time travelled and managed to avert world destruction, and everyone who now survives the catastrophe realises that you helped, they may indeed Thank you, but only you, who experienced the previous timeline are able to make the comparisson in alteration.
Incidentally, remember that the previous timeline which ended in disaster will still exist in a parallel reality which you have left behind. You were once a part of disaster and then Blipped out of exsistence into a more positive lifestyle. You now live with happier friends and family, but leave behind the suffering versions who are still very real. In short, you have sacrificed the experience of seeing others suffer, and holding their hand, in order to give birth and share in a more pleasant version of events.
Perception 2, by opening parallels and pocketing yourself between them, gives you the ultimate ability to a pregnancy of perfection, purely, as always, from your own perspective, and therefore, although morally understandable, is nontheless utterly selfish.
Perception 2 is a simpler version than Perception 1 though, since it totally eliminates all chances of paradox.
Perception 1 relies on paradox, whereas perception 2 creates an alternative where paradox is abolished.
Unfortuneately, whereas the timeline diagram of perception one is simplistic, a straight line, but with implications of paradox and universal elimination, Perception 2 performs a more complex diagram, but at least it is scientifically simpler to follow.
Plausability of perception 2 - Excellent, although it is slightly complex in diagram, at least it removes all paradox.
