Being A rodent owner for a while a lot of people have come up to me and said "eww why do you have those things as pets".The answer is a long one so to cut it down to a few sentances this is why.Mice and Rats are one of the most unreconised pets ever.Some people reconise rats with Sewer Rats and Mice with House Mice.This is not true.Mice and Rats have been domesticated throughout the years and are the sweetest and the cutest pets you could have.While typing this I have my grey and white tailess mouse on me and it got me thinking.You must have seen at least one cute mousie/ratty face in a pet shop and with our day and age its a pretty high change it was snake food..A lot of younger peoples parents won't let them get a rat or mouse because of there own selfish reasons maybe they don't like them themselves or the idea of a rodent in the house isn't appealing to them.But give the mice and rats a go.Believe me you will blowing them rasberrys in no time. |
