It has been my pleasure to breed mice and find loving homes for my pups. I knew from the beginning that breeding mice is a very big resposability as you have so many lifes in your hands. I took great pleasure in caring and loving my mice, sadly for this hobby of mine I have to stop. I got pregnant! It's not that I don't want to continue, I would love to, but me and my boyfriend just can't afford my hobby and a baby. I have to find good homes for each of my mice except for; Speedy, One of Speedy's baby girl and Princess. I know you all have great hearts and will understand this sad fate for my hobby. But please read through the rest of these few paragraphs to understand why I have to do this and how i'm going to do this.
I found out on September 1st 2007, after taking a home pregancy test, that I was pregnant. Me and my boyfriend are very exited at the news, but since we are both at the beginning of our lifes it's a hard fact to finance. Of course we are keeping it, but with every desition comes consequenses and my bigest one is giving up my hobby for breeding mice. I've been bredding mice since January 07, and have had only 3 litters, it may sound like a small number but 2 had 13 pups and 1 had 11. I have learned that not many people are interested in mice as pets around calgary so I ended up keeping a good amount of the pups, which was great for me because I love mice, but I still would have liked to find them good homes. At the moment that I'm writing this I have 28 mice. I'm still in school, taking online High School classes, I'm cramming the remaining courses so that this year I will get 50 credits and get my diploma, plus I work full time at a dairy queen store 6 days a week, my boyfriend is already in dept and a baby would take even more, we however have set up a financial plan to work everything out put the mice cost doesn't fit and having a baby will take up the time I take with the mice and more. To add to the list we are currently looking for a new appartment and many places would not allow this many mice, so for the well being of my mice I have decided to find good homes for each one of them and give up my favorite hobby.
As awful as this sounds I, however plan to find good homes the right way, I'm not giving any mice away as feeders, to a petshop, or to anyone that doesn't seem fit. I'm also not setting any of them free in the wild, that's just cruel.

Because I need to find homes for all of these mice I have changed my prices all mice costs are of $2 each, if you get two females it's $3. My older males are already housed seperately, each of them comes with their cage, BUT the cost of a male AND his cage is of $20. The cage will come with all assesories, that are already in it.
