Ship Naming

I will be purchasing a “Flag” ship for our crew – a Longship – and I will be renaming the it.  So, I am asking the crew to come up with a real good name.  This contest is open to anyone in the crew as of January 11, 2008.

Rules:

This will be a custom rename as per the definition in the YPPEDIA.  Make sure you read it.  This tells you info about what type of words are allowed as well as how many.  Remember this is a custom rename not just the adjective or the fish name.

The contest is over at the end of the day (game time) on Wednesday, January 9, 2008.  They will be reviewed by the SOs and me.  A decision will be made by the end of the day on Friday, January 11, 2008.

 Prize – A wrapped labor badge to be used when you wish.  Worth – 5 dubloons.

Crew Raffle

To help pay for the ship mentioned above I am having a raffle.  This will be open to anybody and not just those in the crew – so get your hearties to buy some.

There will be two drawings.  The first will be on January 5 in the morning for all of those that gave them to me before I went to bed.  The second will be on the morning of Saturday, January 12, 2008 for all of those that were given to me before I went to bed the night before.

Tickets will cost 250 poe for 1 or 5 tickets for 1000 poe.  After I receive the poe I will record your name in a spreadsheet and assign a number to it.  I will use a number randomizer to make the drawing.

Prizes – There will be 3 winners for each drawing.

First place – 25% of the money collected from raffle.

Second place – 10% of the money collected from the raffle.

Third place – Choice of two (2) fish and/or gaffs in my trunk at my shipwright stall on Quetzal.
