Join as Staff:
To become a Staff Member please come out on any Wednesday night that we are having a regular meeting. To find out when we are having regular meetings click here. There you can get a Staff Package to fill out in order to become registered. Ten dollars ($10) is also required. You must be registered to be on the Support Staff, Unit Staff, or the Elected Staff. If you want to help without having one of these positions then no package needs to be filled out. You must have a photo copy of you picture ID card as well. Current military persons must use their military ID cards. If you are former military we also need you to bring a copy of your discharge papers to include in the package. This package also needs three (3) character letters to be complete. These can be from any non-family persons. Good choices would be seniors from your military unit, church pastor, boss, etc. For more information please contact the XO.
Join as a Young Marine:
To become a Young Marine the parent must get a registration package from either the XO or the Adjutant. This package includes all the necessary forms to be completed before the first day of training. One of these forms is to be filled out by a doctor pertaining to the youth's physical. There is also an insurance cost of twenty dollars ($20) that must be paid before the first day of training. The uniform cost is one-hundred twenty dollars ($120). This must be paid at least three (3) weeks prior to the recruit graduation. A fund raiser will be performed by the youth during recruit training in order to help pay for part or all of the uniform cost. After all required payments and forms are completed the youth can participate in the next offered recruit class. These are held three (3) times a year. The class will be held on Wednesday nights from 1800-2030 (6-8:30pm) and on two (2) Saturdays from 0800-1600 (8am-4pm). The youth will learn dicipline, Marine Corps. history, physical fitness, rank structure, close order drill, customs and courtesies, leadership and more during the recruit training. The youth are only allowed two (2) excused absences during their training or they will have to start again with the next available class. After all requirements have been met the youth will have their recruit graduation and can then partake in the other Young Marine functions that come there-after.
