The Miami Outlaws is a group of about 50 guys that range from 20-50 years of age. They like to race at night at F.I.U.'s parking lot, in Miami Florida. A good 98% of the cars we run are Nitro. We only have a couple of guys that run Electric. We meet on Tues. and Thurs nights and compete to see who has the fastest car. The current Top Dog is Turbo Frank. His top speed is 97 MPH. The car that Frank used is the HPI-Racer 2 with a Nova Mega .21 Turbo (ported by Turbo Frank). Most of the Miami Outlaws are not allowed to run their cars at the Race Track due to the Hop-ups (too many restrictions and too many rules. In the parking lot, it's everyman for himself. Everything and anything goes. We have 1/10, 1/8 and 1/5 scales. We have nothing against the guys at the track, it's just that we have the Need for Speed. In Miami, Serpent rules all the way.
