Wine Notes

If the label reads White Burgundy Wine it is 100% Chardonnay.
If the label reads Red Burgundy Wine then the wine is 100% Pinot Noir.

Bordeaux wines drink 2 to 3 years from vintage date.

Chardonnay is a full bodied wine.

Sauvignon Blanc is a medium bodied wine.

Riesling is a light bodied wine.

Pinot Noir is a light bodied wine. Tastes of cherry, sour cherries, high acidity, sliky.

Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot are medium to full bodied. Tastes of Plum, Cedar, Bell Pepper, Blackberry. The wines are dry.

Syrah: full bodied, tastes of: Black pepper, blackberry, currants, spice and Fig.


Domaine Des Preaudes 2005 Chardonnay Pouilly ~ Fuisse, and all white wines with the exception of Riesling, are too acidic.

2007 George Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau 85 points Wine Spectator.
Purchased November 2007, opened July 19, 2008. Very good wine, held up well.
