Lions Clubs International

Local Lions Clubs have offered people,

 just like you, the opportunity to give

back to their community since 1917.

• Establish and operate eye banks - restoring approx. 10,000 sight-restoring cornea transplants every year.

• Service to the blind - including guide dogs, white canes and vocational training and employment.

• Diabetes awareness  programs - research for diabetes and diabetic eye disease.

• Community programs - including Diabetes Youth Camps, multi-handicapped youth camps, and civic-minded projects.

• Education - Youth Exchange (student) program, Lions Quest (dealing with drugs and alcohol).

• Prevention - SightFirst , which aims to prevent and reverse blindness worldwide.
