Ever since she was a child, Kim has enjoyed writing and illustrating stories. She minored in art at Barry University in Miami Shores. She has also been inspired by music, so it's only natural she has chosen a song from a children's album by They Might Be Giants as the catalyst for her first effort at publishing a children's book. She is also working on a comic-book style autobiography about her life growing up as a "flower child" in the 60s entitled "That Explains a Lot."
