Bert is a baseball player to the fullest extent.  He joined the MABL in November of 1997.  He has been a marquis player in the SFBL ever since.  He has successfully made the All Star team each year.  Bert also won the MABL Summer Classic in July of 1999 with an undeafeted team.  Just recently, Bert won the MABL World Series in Clearwater Florida October 2000.
Now with the Miami Devil Rays, Bert is a first season acquisition.  Bert was a free agent at the beginning of the season and has now, finally, found a home.  Bert has played a crucial role as Team RBI leader and has helped with coaching whenever needed.  Bert is a big part of our current 9-1 record.  Looking forward to many seasons to come....
