The National Bank of Pakistan (Tokyo Branch or Osaka Branch) does not charge transfer fees and is thus, considered a convenient way.
Following is the information how to remit money to Pakistan.

You have to remit equivalent Japanese Yen:
    To:  The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd.
            Shimbashi Branch
            Toza A/C 0000930
            National Bank of Pakistan, Tokyo Branch

 The following information are needed to execute your remittance:

1.      Name of the bank and branch where beneficiary has his / her account with.

2.      Name and address of the beneficiary & account No.  (please specify type of the account, i.e., Pak Rupee, F.C., PLS etc)
Currency type (US$, PKR, JPY etc)

3.      Type of remittance (Telegraphic Transfer or Demand Draft)

4.      Purpose of this remittance (e.g. Family maintenance)

5.      Your name, address, telephone number, and signature

6.      Your NBP reference card number that can be obtained by personal visit to the branch and showing legal identification issued Govt. of Japan i.e. Alien Registration Card, driving license etc.

According to new rule, one has to personally visit (only for first time) the NBP branch (Tokyo or Osaka Branch) to get NBP reference card.
