9th grader, Yuuki Miaka was fast asleep in class dreaming about food. "Cheeseburger! Ice cream!" Her eyes sparkled in happiness. She grabbed her chop sticks and as she was about to grab some food, it all started to dissapear one by one. The background scene darkens and people start yelling about there is no need to eat, but to study more. Miaka woke up and yelled "Give back my food!" and she picked up her desk and hit the sensei (teacher). Yui asks Miaka "Who did you just hit with the desk?" and Miaka looks and she hit the sensei. "Sensei!?" Yui doesn't looked suprised and says "Bingo." Miaka was sent to the hall....(sounds like something I would do :P)

Later on, Miaka, her best friend Hongo Yui, and 2 of her other friends, Fu and Mori, walked down the street talking about high school exams and schools. Yui asks Miaka to go with her to the national library.

While waiting for Yui to return a book, Miaka goes to a juice machine, but drops her coin on the floor. As she reaches for it, a red bird flies over her. Curiously, she followed it's trail up to the "Important Documents Reference Room."

Yui finds Miaka in the room and a book falls from the shelf in the room. The book is entitled "The Universe Of Four Gods". Yui says it's an ancient Chinese novel, and starts to read it: "Thus, the girl of the legend opened the door of another world. This is the story of a girl who gathered the Seven Seishi of Suzaku. She obtained omnipotent power, and made every wish come true. The story itself is an incantation. Whoever finishes reading it will recieve this power. As soon as the page is turned, the story will become truth and being."

As the girls wonder what all that stuff means, a red light luminates from the book and they find themselves in a strange world.

Miaka whines about how there is no cheeseburgers around, and then strange men came up to them. Before anything bad happens, a man with an "orge" character on his forehead appears and beats up the men as Miaka and Yui watch in amazament.

The men run for their lives afterwards. The man asks if they are okay, and asks them to pay him. Realizing they have no money, he walks off and says that he hates poor people.

Yui runs after him, but dissappears into that strange red light again. Miaka manages to find some money to pay him, but looks around to find that the man and Yui have both disappeared.

Yui finds herself back at the library with the book in front of her. She reads...and what she reads is exactly what just happened to her and Miaka! She also sees an illustration of the man with the orge character and realizes that it wasn't a dream.

Miaka, who is now on a cart in search of the man, thinks about how handsome he was but thinks he kidnapped Yui.

Upon arriving in a city, she sees the man and tells the person that was driving the cart "Thank you". He looks at her and didn't know she was in the back. (^__^);;;)

Miaka goes around asking if anyone has seen a handsome man with a character on his forehead, but had no luck. Depressed, she ponders as to where she is, till a man comes up and tells her to follow him. For the man she is looking for is a friend of his. Excited, she follows him.

In another part of the city, 2 men are talking about rumors of a strange girl roaming around town. The man with the character on his forehead overhears them and asks if there were 2 girls. He replies that there was only one, so the man figures that it's not the girls that he helped out before.

It turned out that the man Miaka was following is a street thug, and leads her to his gang. In an attempt to protect herself, she makes a speech about how "strong" she is. She decides to try some pro wrestling moves that she saw on satelite. All the men fall down in defeat and Miaka was like "Wow I can do it! I should go for the pros!" But someone grabbed her ankle and threw her on the ground.

Despite her efforts, the thugs attempt to rape her but someone on the roof said "all you men against one women." and they all look at him and he says "Thats pretty low." Then he jumps down and kicks the crap out of the men (*huggles*).
