Chapter 6: Chit-Chat and Seduction

“MIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!” Ryo cries out as Mia and Dais disappear.

“BLAST IT! There’s GOT to be some way to find her.” Kento says.

“And Sage.” Rowen adds in.

Meanwhile elsewhere, Mia tries to say something under her gag, Dais still holding her captive.

“Shut up, girl.” Dais retorts. He takes me into Talpa’s throne room. “I have brought her, Master.”

“Good.” Says a booming voice from the floating, ghost-like masked head in front of us. “Hello there, little lady.”

I go quiet, now very frightened.

“I have something to show you.” He tells me. “Do you want to see it?”

I try to say something from underneath the gag. Talpa makes the gag disappear. “What was that, girly? I couldn’t hear you; you’ll have to speak up.”

“I said, ‘Do I have a choice?’” I repeat, trying to sound brave.

Talpa only chuckles at this, then calls on one of his other warlords. “Cale! Bring my surprise!”

“Yes, Master.” He disappears then reappears, this time with another armored person.

“What do you think, my dear?” Talpa asks me. I gasp once I realize who the stranger is, shocked. “S-Sage?!”

“Correct! Only now he’s known as Seijio the Cruel!” Talpa explains with pride. Sage – er -- Seijio nods slightly.

“No…no, I won’t believe it!” And I couldn’t believe it. How could Sage – A fellow Ronin Warrior and the Warrior of Light at that – fall into the darkness and join the Dynasty’s side? Tears fill my eyes once again and I cover my face with my hands, crying softly.

“Believe it, girl! I, the almighty Talpa, has turned the Warrior of Light to the darkness!” He laughs evilly, eyes glowing red.

“But what do you want from ME?” I ask him, still crying.

“All will be revealed in time.” He tells me. “But for now…Anubis!”

“Yes, Master?”

“Do what you want with the girl further notice.”

He bows to his master. “Thank you, Master Talpa.”

“I’ll NEVER serve you!”

“Who said you were going to serve ME?”

“That’s right.” Anubis adds. “Master Talpa gave you to ME.” He leers as he goes to kiss me. Seijio just watches in dark silence.

I cry out, trying to get the real Sage back as I pull away from Anubis, cheeks stained by tears. “Sage! SNAP OUT OF IT!” But it didn’t work. He just looks on before walking away and Talpa laughs.

“Heh heh…nice try, girly. But it won’t be that easy.” The warlord tells me. Then he grabs me about the waist, giving a very deep kiss on my lips. I have no choice but to kiss back, a single tear escaping my eye.

Anubis breaks the kiss and grins at me. “Now that’s what I like…” Then he laughs, as we are both teleported to his chambers.

“So my pretty…how about another kiss?”

I look away, already disgusted by the whole thing. “Never.”

“Aww, come on. It won’t kill you.” He replies, trying to sound sweet. I growl and kiss him angrily on the cheek.

“Now, now…no need to be angry.” He starts nibbling on my ear, which causes me to blush, but I wasn’t enjoying it one bit. In fact, I was even angrier now.

“Anubis…”

I could feel him smile as he continues to nibble my ear. “Hmm?”

I turn to him, the anger flashing in my eyes. “You will pay for what you did to Sage!”

He stops what he’s doing and slaps me across the face, furious now. “NEVER SPEAK THAT WAY TO ME!”

I growl lowly, holding my cheek. It’s a little red where I was slapped and felt like fire, but I didn’t care.

“You will do well to remember who your master is, girl.”

“I’ll ask again…what do you want with me? I refuse to serve Talpa!”

“Right now, Talpa is not your master, I am. And I want you to bear my children!”

“WHAT?!” Me bear HIS children?! Was he mad?! “I want Sage back, not you, Anubis!”

“You heard me. And Seijio? You can’t have him back; he belongs to Master Talpa now.”

“We’ll get him back somehow! The Ronin Warriors never lose!”

He laughs at my remark. “So you say, so you say. But for now…” He leans in and kisses me again.

‘I can’t believe Sage is really gone…’ I think sadly as tears escape my eyes again and roll down my cheeks. I never meant to cry so much, but now I felt so helpless...so lonely…He breaks the kiss with me again.

“Aww, you liked that kiss so much it brought tears to your eyes.” Then he grins. “How about another?”

I shake my head stubbornly. “Stop it, Anubis! I will never be yours!”

“Ha! You will change your mind.” He kisses me roughly this time, and his eyes flash evilly.

I want to pull away but I can’t due to his grip on me. Just when I think it was going to last an eternity, he pulls away.

“Now that wasn’t so bad, was it?”

“No…” ‘Ancient One…please help Sage…help us all.’

“Oh-ho…being honest now, are we?” Unable to resist temptation, he kisses me again, but more softly.

‘Oh, Sage, how could you let them do this to you? Ancient One, please help him…help me.’

“What are you thinking about my dear?” Anubis asks me.

“Nothing…”

“So then…shall we have a bit of fun?”

“What do you mean?” I ask him, sadness in my voice.

“As I said, I want you to bear my children. Can’t do that if we don’t have the “fun” first.”

“I’ll NEVER be yours!” I snap back at him angrily. “Now let me go!”

He backhands me again. “I TOLD YOU TO NEVER SPEAK TO ME IN THAT MANNER!” He then throws me onto the bed behind us roughly.

“The Ronins WILL find me, Anubis! And they’ll get Sage back too!”

He laughs, finding my words humorous. “Yeah right! They won’t know HOW to get your precious Sage back.”

“Then I’ll do it myself!” I start to get up and run away, but he grabs my arm, stopping me.

I don’t think so, wench!”

Then he tosses me back on the bed. ‘Ronin Warriors, where are you?’

“HA!” he gloats as he starts disrobing.

“Oh, Sage…” I think aloud, as I start crying softly. “Why couldn’t you fight it?”

“He was too weak to fight it!” Anubis was now “totally in the buff” as some might say, as he advances toward me. “Now it’s fun time!!” he sneers.

“No!” I look away, anger flashing in my blue-green eyes.

Anubis only chuckles, having his “fun” with me. I have no choice but to accept it as I hope this is all just a really bad dream.

He sneers at me again. “Good girl…”

Meanwhile…

“Blast it! Now what are we supposed to do?” The Wildfire bearer was getting frustrated.

“Don’t worry, ryo.” Kento tells him. “We’ll get the back. We just have to find them first.”

“I know. It’s just that…”

“Hey, guys!” Cye calls out suddenly. “I found something!!” Over there!” he points in the direction he was indicating.

--- Cut to Anubis and Mia ---

“Why are you doing this, Anubis? I don’t love you.”

“You will in time.” He says in his own cewrtainty as he kisses me.

“No I won’t.” I assure him as I look away. He only shrugs.

I give a low growl and try to get away again, but he holds me down.

“I TOLD you. You are MINE by order of Master Talpa himself. Until he needs you. Don’t know what for, but that probably won’t be for awhile yet. So you BETTER behave, or I will get even nastier than I already am. Is that understood?”

I nod, frowning and giving in. “Yes, Anubis…”

“Smart girl.” He smiles to himself seeing tears of fear in my eyes.

--- Cut back to the Ronin Warriors ---

“What did you find, Cye?” Rowen asks, walking up to him.

“It looks like a secret passage.”

“Wonder where it leads.” Kento ponders.

“Only one way to find out.” Ryo states, matter-of-factly. They enter the passage.

Meanwhile…

“Master Talpa, the Ronin Warriors have found one of the secret passages leading to the throne room.” Sekkhmet informs his master.

“Send our special weapon to greet them.”

The Warlord of Venom bows obediently. “Yes, Master…”

“I told you, Anubis, I don’t want children.”

“But I do. I don’t want to be the last of my line.” He explains to me.

“But why does Talpa want me? I have nothing to offer him at all.”
