Los Angeles was nice. Lots of sun and hilly streets. It was suprisingly cool at night though. I guess I expected it to be really hot all day long. Went to this bar/club called Miyagi's. I was told before going, that it was "free". That kinda confused me because I'm so used to bars like that being free anyway. I wondered what it would be if it weren't free. After that, we went to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. The food was good but not spectacular, and the service sucked! We walked through the door, and there was no sign or any indication that we must wait to be seated, so we proceeded to seat ourselves. We were promptly approached and asked, "What's the problem?!" We looked at him like "Yes, what is the problem?" The host then informed us that there was a wait, then asked for our names so that we could be seated in order. We waited outside for our names to be called. While waiting, (there were only two of us)we saw two guys walk up and be immediately seated!! We confronted the host and asked "What's the problem?" After some stuttering and stammering, he seated us at a two-person table. Whew. I'm still not sure what that was all about. Maybe we were supposed to know some secret code. After that little fiasco, we sat and ordered our food, which to make a long story short, came to the table incorrect. Our waitress was understandably busy so we flagged down an older gentleman who appeared to be the manager, possibly Roscoe, but I'm not sure. We began to tell him of our problem when after about five words, he almost inaudibly interjected "Tell the waitress." He disappeared and our waitress returned to the table shortly to help us. Roscoe's was quite an adventure I must say.

My left hand is itching, maybe I'll get some money.
