| Currently centralized out of Middleville, Michigan. Also working out of a farm just North of Battle Creek, Michigan. Specializing in starting of horses in all disciplines with Round Pen/Natural Horse-Man-Ship logic, Dressage basics, and Centered Riding Theory. Horses off the track are retrained using the same principles. I have experience with many breeds and ages. I put a good start on youngsters so they can be safe trail companions with very solid basics; retrain the Thoroughbred Ex-Racehorse so they can transition into whatever their future career may be; or work with horses who have had some troubles along the line. My main focuses are solid basics and trail readiness, not the show pen. Horse can be started with tendencies towards Dressage, Hunt, or Western. I have limited, but continued, show experience and mainly only with Tennessee Walking Horse with the Versatility Program. I can put finishing touches on your horse, condition for trail, and do some basic show training. The services I offer basically put your horse in a better spot to move on easier with advanced training methods, either provided by the owner who just didn't want to do the very beginning work or a more expensive show-geared facility. Training with board included per month is $500. Board is full care with daily turnout. Horses accepted at my home barn as space allows. Facility has round pen, outside arena, spacious stalls, and plenty of fields, trails, and dirt roads to acclimate the trail horse just starting out to any situation. Training can be performed at your/your horse's residence with cost being dependant upon milage. Base cost is $25 per hour. Due to gas prices, an additional $5 per 30 miles over the first 30 miles will be imposed. Mileage starts from Middleville, Michigan 49333. Owners are encouraged to be involved with the training process so they can see what is done and ask questions! No sense in spending the money if you have no idea what is going on. When horses are taken into my home barn, Owner's are encouraged to visit and watch training sessions. Training costs also includes "lessons" on your freshly trained or fine tuned horse.
