| SPEAK TO YOUR FAMILY ABOUT YOUR CONDITION Be honest. Pick the right moment. Stay Calm. Use their questions as a guide. Don't overwhelm them. Speak in positive tones. Trust your family to accept your condition on their terms. Prepare yourself and them for emergencies. Know that your family will want to help you. Encourage them to attend a support group meeting with you. Never blame them for your problems. |
