BalGokulam is a cultural, social forum for children to nurture their cultural values, maintain their Indian identity, develop a keen sense of belonging, understand the attachment to their mother country, and most of all deal with the dual Indo-American society.

Children are exposed to a multitude of events and happenings through the efforts of BalGokulam where each child is encouraged to participate in various activities, games, cultural programs. Children get a first hand learning experience of the Great Indian Epics like the Ramayan. They also recite the Hindu prayers after each session. Children learn to respect their Indina Deities and worshipping them becomes a normal part of daily life which otherwise maynot be the case.

BalGokulam cultivates a feeling of bonding with the other members. Following Indian rituals and culture get so well ingrained within one self that one feels "Proud to be an Indian".
