| RAF Menwith Hill - Where is it? Menwith Hill is situated on the Moors North of Otley, not far from Harrogate. The base is served by a pokey little 'B' road from the A59. The exact details of what goes on here are unknown. This isn't an early warning station, that's what Filingdales is for near Whitby. RAF Menwith Hill is a Monitoring Station, or as the British government say: "An USA Communications Relay Centre". |
