Paul "I want a MR2" Bromley
Paul was the one who got me to like MR2's and I guess its legacy still lives on..
Paul bought his first 1986 MR2 many years ago, he rebuilt the engine, and it was a champ.
Well, guess what.... He hit a fence rallying and he needed many front end body parts.
Time for a Parts car!
Paul found a 1986 MR2 in Automatic with a blown head gasket, but the body was AWESOME!
We bought it for 300 bucks and the rental of a Uhaul trailer
I paid 200 Paul paid 100
The plan: Paul gets his front end parts... and I get the rest for a rebuild.
(Of course I had to get my own front end parts...)
Well... time flied for about a year and a half, and Paul wanted more power,
Thus, he wanted a SC MR2.
The car I got out of the deal 1 1/2 years earlier was well toward completion, all it needed was a paint job.
PAUL GOT A 1988 SUPERCHARGED! COOL!
A couple months after he got it, he was driving in the rain one night, the car let loose and he hit a guard rail 3 or 4 times going
70MPH.....
Guess who bought the car off of him for parts.... ME!!!
