The Women's Tennis World Championships will be returning to MSG for the 29th consecutive year beginning November 13 through November 19. The tournament features the top 16 women's singles tennis players and the top eight doubles teams vying for 2 million dollars in prize money.
Last year, Lindsay Davenport put on a tennis clinic when she crushed Martina Hingis 6-4, 6-2 in the final match to avenge her loss to Hingis in the 1998 finals. Expected to join Hingis in the attempt to dethrone Davenport are 1999 US Open champ Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Monica Seles, Anna Kournikova and Jennifer Capriati.
Past Chase champions include Chris Evert (1972, 1973, 1975, 1977); Evonne Goolagong (1974 and 1976); Martina Navratilova (1978-79, 1981, 1983-86); Tracy Austin (1980); Sylvia Hanika (1982); Steffi Graf (1987, 1989, 1993, 1995-96); Seles (1990-92); Gabriela Sabatini (1988 and 1994); Jana Novotna (1997); and Hingis (1998).

All tickets for the morning sessions are only $10 general admission, allowing fans the opportunity to sit courtside to watch their favorite women's tennis stars.
