My high school best friend's wedding makes me think a lot. It was a wonderful evening last night but surely I can see there is a "time-grap" with my high school colleagues already. Is it because where I live? What I do? Or who I met? Nevertheless, I've never thrown my Broadway musical favour away. To be honest, I found myself very lucky that I can "manage" to spare tonight to watch "Singin' in the Rain" especially after a series of tiring lectures. Oh yes, the hardest lecture since my quantum mechanics class. Wait a minute, wasn't I doing Finance? Unify theory in Financial context? Chaos theory for the equity market? Finally I got a new mobile phone! In fact it does have a better impact that I thought. i) I WAS really desperate for one (which I wasn't really aware) ii) It's a Sony!

It was the most expensive ball I've ever been to, but perhaps the least amount of effort I've put on for my dress up. Of course I'd never dress up like those Elvis, Audrey Hepburn or Priscilla - Queen of the Dessert, but having a simple tux and a red vest do make me feel perfectly fit to my own table theme - Moulin Rouge. Afterall, I had enough wine to cover the cost of the ticket, at least!

While I was still struggling whether coming all the way over to Seoul for this opening ceremony was worthwhile or not, I believe at least I've done a pretty good job in cost saving so far. A single way from my hotel to the Stadium only cost me 600Won! I wasn't really impressed by the stadium itself (and the surrounding deco) but the people were REALLY dress/make up. The reps from God were really specticular; they were definitely more exicting than those policemen and riflemen. My favourite part of the night was the opening ceremony, not the actual game itself - not because I went for France; but instead I did feel part of it. They really did a good job in creating the atmosphere. Well done!
