Hello everyone!
Back in high school I was Marla Rompala, a moniker that
earned me much teasing
from the more, uh, creative members of our class
(may they all rot in hell
- just kidding). It's OK, though, I sorta
blossomed as I grew older,
and I don't get teased anymore.
I don't live far from
Marysville at the moment, but by this time next
year I hope I'll be living
in Hong Kong, wandering the streets in search
of ho leng jai.
I've become a bit of a nut about Asian stuff - I only
listen to Asian music,
watch (and own) tons of Hong Kong movies, and am
learning Cantonese with
a bit of Mandarin tossed in for good measure.
I was wise enough not
to have any children - well, not human ones. I'm
the proud mama of four
African Grey parrots (two Timnehs, two Congos),
but only three are in
the photo since I hadn't gotten the fourth at the
time. They're much
better than real children because you can put them
in a cage when necessary
(something I think you should also be able to
do with human offspring).
Although I'm currently
married to hubby #2, he won't be going along with
me when I make my move
to Hong Kong. I have discovered that I don't
play well with others
(and yes, I still run with scissors). I don't
like to share my toys.
In my spare time I like
to play around with websites devoted to my
favorite stars.
Feel free to come on by and take a look sometime. I
haven't had any spare
time for awhile, so nothing has been updated
lately.
