11/11--We are SO proud of the McLean Highlanders this season. Wow! Best year in a while. We know how hard you worked (and how much you ate!!! lol). And the hard work paid off with a winning season. Great job, guys!!
11/3--Tough game last night, Varsity, but your fans are proud and excited about the great season you're having! We're looking forward to cheering for you next week. Pasta Parents promise to provide the fuel...you provide the power! (not to mention skill, endurance, persistence, and HEART!!)

10/26--McLean varsity is back on track, beating Fairfax 21-13!! CONGRATULATIONS, TEAM--WELL DONE!!!! That was a big win as it put the Highlanders back into 1st place in the Liberty District, sharing the spot with Madison (our next opponent!). It also guarantees the team a winning season. And seniors will remember this as another significant stat....5 WINS (already!) this year......do YOU know the significance of that?
10/22--Highlanders are getting ready for Fairfax this week....JV and Freshmen home on Thursday, Varsity at Fairfax on Friday. Go Get 'em, Guys! The fans will be in the stands!!!
10/13--With 3 of our starters sidelined due to injuries, The Highlanders faced their first loss of the season. Everyone worked hard to adjust to the changes required by the change in the starting line-up, but Marshall managed to win the game 30-15. Tough follow-up to last weeks' awesome overtime win at W.T. Woodson (37-36). It'll keep the team's feet on the ground as they get ready to beat Chantilly this Friday...........GO, McLean!!

9/21--Oh What A Night! McLean Varsity overtakes Lee 35-21!! Loyal MHS fans were ecstatic in the stands! Nice work, guys!!
9/20--There will be a pasta dinner for the Varsity this afternoon at 5:30 in the cafeteria. This weekly event is sponsored and prepared by the parents of the team.....if you'd like to lend a helping hand, please email [email protected]. We'd LOVE to have you join in!
9/13--Fairfax County Public Schools have cancelled all athletic competition through Tuesday (9/18). Therefore all 3 football games for tonight and tomorrow night have been cancelled. They will not be made up. Teams will resume practices today. The Varsity Football dinner planned for tonight is cancelled. We will hold our next dinner on Thursday (9/20).
9/7-- Congratulations to all three McLean football teams....What a great way to start our season...three wins!
9/7-- First varsity game of the season tonite at Stuart, 7:30 p.m. Parents: please remember to look for the sign-up sheets for the weekly Thursday pasta dinners for the Varsity team. Your support will be greatly appreciated by the players!!
