Re: Designation of Class of 1977 Donation
Enclosed please find MHS Class of 1977 check # 142 in the amount of $900. As per our previous discussion, this money is to be used for the purchase of a video editing station. This includes a PC and video editing software. These funds are to be used solely for this purpose. If for any reason this is not possible, MHS Class of 1977 reserves the right to approve any other uses of these funds.
In addition, you, Jim Keyes and I have agreed upon the following items:
1. That a plaque be placed in the Audio-Visual Department in recognition of our donation.
2. That an acknowledgement of our donation will take place during the halftime of the 2002 1890's Night Soccer Game to be video taped and used as an announcement during other future events.
3. That the audio-visual class will produce a video tape showing what they do and how the equipment will be used. This tape will be shown at the class reunion on September 28, 2002.
It was also discussed that the Class of 1977 would be allowed to tour the high school as a part of our 25th Reunion. I will be in contact with you before September 28th to finalize the arrangements for the tour.
The Mansfield High School Class of 1977 is proud of our school. We want those who walk the hallways we walked 25 years ago to remember MHS with "Tiger Pride". It is because of MHS "Tiger Pride" that we have made the donation we are making today. And it is with "Tiger Pride" that we will continue to support Mansfield High in years to come.
