We recall a balmy evening in Paia where this lively group gathered for a wonderful time of reminiscing, reaquainting with one another, enjoying delicious catered food, collecting door prizes from many classmates and generous island businesses, watching a special video presentation by HJP Productions, Kahului (H. Platiro), and promising to do it all over again with a well-planned and executed reunion for the next milestone, the 60th birthday celebration held in Vegas in 2006. Since then, we've had a Social Security Reunion, also held in Vegas, to rejoice about hitting the "62" mark when many would start to collect social security benefits. Then we did it again with our 45th-Year Reunion on Maui, co-chaired by J. (Komoda) and S. (Chong-Kee). We are approaching the stage of life when friendships must start to mean much more. What better friendships made than from your high school classmates!?? Mahalo for revisiting the 40th. Hope you recognized the faces.
