Application for an Internship from
August 1998 to January 1999 (100 work days) Dear Sir or Madam, I am a German student studying Software Technology.
Currently I am in the fifth semester of
the Software Technology curriculum at the "Fachhochschule für Technik in Esslingen
(FHTE)" (Technical University) and will use the opportunity to do an
internship in a foreign country during my second practical semester. My knowledge is based on C++, Java and a bit Smalltalk
with emphasis on Internet and Java Technologies. My main interests, OOP (Object Oriented
Programming) and Client / Server Technologies, are based on my work for IBM,
Germany. I know that engineers must be curious about new technologies and therefore continually be able to learn, adapt to changing technologies. They have to be teamplayers. I possess these necessary qualities and studying abroad will help me to further develop myself as a competent engineer. I would be very pleased to receive your reply. I look
forward to hearing from you. Yours truly, |
