Well, it looks like winter is starting to move in to the Valley of the Sun; schools are in session; and we just survived another Halloween. On November 11 we remember all of our service men and women and on November 25 we observe Thanksgiving. Before you know it, it will be Christmas time again.
Before I do anything else, Donna and I wanted to express our condolences to the family and friends of Tom Gallagher. If you didn�t know, Tom passed away this last October. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 6 at 10:00 am. This will be held at the New Life Fellowship located at 7603 N. 59th Lane in Glendale. A memorial reception (potluck) will be held after the service here at Orange Grove Estates from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Ok, if you normally are on the Web Site, you will know that it has not been updated for the last couple of months. Between work and personal problems, the Web Site had to take a back seat for a while. Please remember, this is more of a hobby for me and not a job. Therefore, if things come up beyond my control, the Web Site will need to take a lower priority. Because it has been a couple of months since the last update, I will not clean off the older information until next month.
I would also like to let you know, a new page has now been added to the Web Site, the "Community Bulletin Board." Member of the Orange Grove Estates Community can submit requests to have things posted on the Web Site and, pending my approval, they will be posted here. Everything to be posted on the "Community Bulletin Board" must be submitted in writing (by e-mail or printed material) before it can be posted.
I hope that you exercised you right/privilege to vote in the General Election this week. Speaking about the election, if you are a member of the MHOA that is up to date with your dues, you have an election coming up in December for new officers for the Board of Directors. Please don�t forget to vote at the General Meeting on December 13, 2004.
