The following is a copy of a letter I received on Monday, April 25, 2005.

Dear Residents:

Congratulations to the April Rent Promotion winners - Ronald Therrien #32 and Alfred Phillips #100. Congratulations also to Kevin Rust #188, who won a $25 gift certificate to Home Depot for Outstanding Home of the Month.

There are several issues of importance we need to make you aware of:

The mailman has asked that all residents please be patient when picking up their mail. He needs time to sort and distribute the mail to each box and would like residents to wait until he has completed this process and closed the doors before they pick up their mail. Also, someone is taking mail from the outgoing mail boxes. This is a Federal Offense and is punishable by law. If you are mailing important items, it is recommended that you do not put them in these outgoing slots, but mail them from the post office or an official postal drop box. We are trying to get an official postal drop box installed.

Parents of school age children are asked to make your child aware that it is wrong to be running through neighbors' yards and yelling while waiting at the bus stop in the morning. Please have respect for your neighbors. Please also make sure your child does not climb on the fence or wall at the bus stop. Also, it has been reporte that there are children dialing 9-1-1 from the payphone by the pool area. THIS MUST STOP IMMEDIATELY!

Please dispose of your trash bags by placing them inside the dumpsters. Children are putting the bags outside the dumpster because they can't reach the lids to open them.

It has been brought to our attention that people who do not live in the community are getting into the pool. Residents are urged not to open the gate to anyone who says they don't have their key. Every resident of Orange Grove Estates should have a pool key. If you are in the pool area, keep the door shut at all times.

Palm trees in the community will be trimmed in late June or early July. Residents are urged to keep their shrubs trimmed below window level and trim tree branches 6-7 feet from the ground for security purposes.

For traffic safety reasons, the main gate to the community will be temporarily closed off while road construction is being done. Please use the Butler Street entrance. It will remain open 24 hours a day. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE CHILDREN WAIT FOR THE SCHOOL BUS AT THAT ENTRANCE.

The gates to the picnic area will close daily at 3 p.m. due to vandalism. If you wish to use the grills or picnic tables, contact security pager # 602-498-6724.

A reminder that vehicle repair and/or maintenance, including oil and fluid changes, is prohibited in the community. Also, we have been experiencing some problems with septic backups. Please do not flush diapers, paper towel or tampons down your toilet. Do not pour kitchen grease in your sinks.

Every day we are noticing improvements to the community and we would like to thank residents for doing such a wonderful job taking care of their property.
