Dear Residents:

Congratulations to James & Alicia Simmons (#250) and Linda Scott (space #13)-the winners of the April rent promotion. We'd also like to recognize Wanda & Rick Ernst (#195) who were the winners of our "Outstanding Home of the Month".

Last month we included a flyer on the VIN (vehicle identification number) etching program which will be held this coming Saturday between 9:00 am and 11:00 am during the Pancake Breakfast. There will be a brief presentation by the Glendale Police Department at 9:00 am in the South Rec Hall. Providing we all work together and keep things running smoothly, it will only take 5 minutes per car to etch. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR VEHICLE REGISTRATION WITH YOU. Remember that the police department representatives have only until 11:00 am, so this will be on a first come-first served basis.

We have started and will be continuing to trim trees and bushes throughtout the park. You are more than welcome to trim your own to meet the Glendale P.D. standards for our crime free neighborhood - no bushes taller than 3' and tree branches must be at least 4' above the ground.

Many of you have a good handle on the overgroth of weeds - it's still growing season, so let's keep it up!

Just a couple of quick reminders:

• For residents with dogs, please remember to be courteous of you neighbors and neighborhood and clean up after your pet.
• For you smokers, please use the ashtrays around the club house instead of flipping your cigarettes into the rocks or street.

Ding, Ding, Ding--Keep in mind that if you refer to the park a qualified buyer that purchases a home, you will receive $100 off your rent. We will be having a Park Wide Open House for the homes we have for sale on May 1st. It would be a great opportunity for your friends to browse and to see our neighborhood.
