March 18, 2004
Dear Residents:
First of all, congratulations go out to Steve Haines in space 133, and Don Berdine in space 154 - our winners for the March rent promotion.
Remember that if your rent is paid prior to the 1st of the month, you are eligible to participate in this rent promotion.
The two winners that we draw receive a $25 reduction in the following month's rent.
Now that the weather is heating up, we've had quite a bit of usage in our south pool.
The north pool will be opening on April 1st.
Please adhere to the rules - these are for the health and safety of all.
The following are reminders for rules most widely abused:
- Tots who are not toilet trained are NOT allowed in the pools.
- Children 14 and over may swim without a parent. Children under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by an adult of 18 or older.
- Residents' guests need to be accompanied by the resident.
- Anyone using the hot tub must be 18 or older.
Please also remember that if your pool key is lost, the cost to replace it is $5.00.
The Social Club and Management will be hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 10th @ 9:00 am in the North Rec Hall.
The age limit is 12 and under.
ALL participants will need to be accompanied by at least 1 parent who is required to remain through the entire hunt.
Registration must be made by Saturday, April 3rd by calling either Sue Ames (623-435-8202 or 602-689-3039) or the Management Office (623-934-3900).
The community yard sale is being held April 3rd & 4th.
See details on back of this letter.
Also, the Glendale P.D. will be hosting a program on VIN etching vehicles during the Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 24th.

The Glendale Police Department
and the
Arizona Automobile Theft Authority
proudly announces their
Free VIN Etching Program
Why should you consider VIN Etching on your vehicle as a visual theft deterrent against auto theft?
When a vehicle is stolen the thief must changer the identity of the vehicle by changing the VIN plate on the dashboard.
With a new VIN plate, he now has a new vehicle, but with a vehicle that has been etched the thief must replace each piece of window glass.
This extra work and expense may cause a thief to steal an un-etched vehicle.
How long will the process take?
A short auto theft prevention presentation will take place for each group, and then it should take only 10 minutes per vehicle.
The vehicle owner must show proof of vehicle ownership, current registration and compleate a consent form provided by the police department.
